Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the poetic and functional significance of anaphora in modernist poetry. In modernist literature, anaphora is interpreted not only as a stylistic ornament, but also as one of the main tools that ensures the rhythmic, semantic and psychological integrity of the text. The article highlights the role of anaphora in creating inner rhythm, representing the stream of consciousness, enhancing emotional impact, and integrating semantic fragments based on examples from the work of Thomas Stearns Eliot, Walt Whitman, Allen Ginsberg, James Joyce, William Butler Yeats, and David Herbert Lawrence. The study proves that anaphora is a fundamental poetic element that unites form and content in modernist poetry.
