The article analyzes the transformation of interpersonal and mass communication processes under the influence of globalization factors. The key areas of influence of globalization on the forms, means and content of communication are described, including the internationalization of communication, digitalization, changes in the language landscape and strengthening of intercultural interaction. Particular attention is paid to the risks of linguistic homogenization, cultural standardization, the growth of digital inequality and the threat of loss of local identity.
