This article provides a scholarly analysis of the process of transformation of the female image in modern Uzbek literature. The study examines the representation of women during the Soviet period, the changes that occurred in the years of independence, as well as female protagonists in contemporary prose and their socio-psychological characteristics. In the course of the analysis, references are made to research conducted by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University, and other academic institutions, along with examples drawn from the works of contemporary Uzbek writers.
