This article analyzes the current state and development trends of using one ofthe renewable energy sources in the Republic of Uzbekistan – wind energy. Thestudy examines the natural and climatic conditions of the country, the reserves ofwind resources, and the possibilities for their effective utilization. Theimplemented projects for the construction of wind power plants and aspects ofattracting foreign investment are also analyzed.
