This article analyzes the activities of Duvakhan, the tenth khan of theChagatai ulus, and Kaidukhan, the grandson of Ogedei, who kept the ulus underhis political influence. It highlights the significance of the Chagatai and Ogedeialliance, its foreign policy priorities, and Duvakhan's relations with the rulers ofthe Yuan Empire, the Ilkhanate, and the Golden Horde.
