In Azerbaijan, tolerance and multiculturalism are among the fundamentalprinciples of state policy and social life. After gaining independence, this principlewas further strengthened, and Azerbaijan not only preserved its national unity butalso positioned itself as an international model in the fields of multiculturalism andtolerance. This article examines in detail the traditions of multiculturalism, the roleof ethnic minorities in public life, and the impact of these principles on the social,cultural, and political spheres.
