This article defines the concept of gender and provides a brief overview of what the field of genderology studies, its connections with other disciplines, and the history of its development. Additionally, the influence of patriarchal society on gender roles is concisely and clearly illustrated through examples from literary works and Uzbek folk proverbs. The emotional experiences and psychological states of female and male characters are explored from a linguopsychological perspective.
