This article is devoted to the study of the functional-semantic properties of medical terms in English and Uzbek. The study analyzes the linguistic features of medical terminology in both languages, problems in the translation process, and semantic changes in terms. Together with the development of the field of Medicine in Uzbekistan, the issue of creating compatibility between international medical terminology and their national language alternatives is relevant. The article discusses the analysis of the functional-semantic properties of terms and the effectiveness of translation methods.
