This article explores the phraseological units in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages and their national-cultural characteristics. A phraseological unit is a combination of words or expressions that form an independent meaning without interacting with other elements of the language. The national culture expressed through phraseological units reflects the unique worldview, history, customs, and psychology of each nation. The article also analyzes phraseological units, providing examples that help deepen the understanding of each language's culture. By analyzing phraseological units, one can gain a broader understanding of the psychology, customs, and origin of each nation. The aim of this scientific work is to identify national-cultural peculiarities through phraseological units and to highlight the difficulties in their translation.
