This study examines the methodologies for developing listening comprehension skills in English lessons for Uzbek students. The study analyzes adapted strategies using qualitative and quantitative research methods, taking into account cultural and linguistic specificities. Relevant literature and empirical results are presented to discuss effective methodologies and specific problems for Uzbek students.
