This article analyzes the unique features of Arabic stylistics, in particular, the essence of metaphorical expressions. It examines the lexical and terminological definitions of metaphor, its important role in the Arabic language balagat, as well as its aesthetic and creative meaning. The article explains various types of metaphorical expressions, such as istiora, tashbeh and mafozi mursal, with examples. It also provides a deep lexical analysis of metaphorical phrases found in the texts of Hadith and their metaphorical meanings.
