This article analyzes the linguistic nature and methodological function of neologisms in use in modern Uzbek media. As a result of the study, the ways of formation, semantic features and methodological tasks of neologisms used in the media were identified. Also, the degree of application and power of influence of neologisms in publicistic texts has been studied.
