This article explores the concepts of openness and honesty in the medical field. Scholars' perspectives on the notions of eloquence, openness, and sincerity in medicine are discussed, with an analysis of their similarities and differences. The manifestations of sincerity and openness in medicine are theoretically substantiated and supported with examples. Medical communication is a distinct type of speech, forming an essential part of human life. It represents a complex discursive formation, expressed through various aspects, genres, and communicative situations related to medicine. Our research focuses particularly on open and sincere interpersonal communication between doctors and patients as a form of reliable interaction.
