This study examines the discursive features of the expression of the concept of "homeland" in Spanish and Uzbek, with a particular focus on aphorisms and proverbs. Qualitative analysis reveals key themes, including love and affection for the homeland, sacrifice and duty, and the homeland as a source of identity. The research illuminates both universal and culturally specific metaphors and rhetorical strategies, demonstrating how historical and cultural contexts shape these expressions. A comparative analysis reveals shared values and distinct nuances, contributing to a deeper understanding of cultural narratives and linguistic expressions of "homeland."
