This article examines the legal mechanisms for organizing prosecutorial oversight of the implementation of food safety legislation and issues related to their improvement. It analyzes the opinions of legal scholars on this matter and explores the legislative experience of foreign countries. Based on the analysis, proposals for enhancing the legal mechanisms for organizing prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of food safety legislation are substantiated.
