The problem of identifying a person from images of handwritten text is considered. An algorithm is proposed for segmenting the image of a handwritten word into the objects that make up this word. The input data for this algorithm is a binary normalized image of the skeleton of a handwritten word, and the output is images of handwritten objects that make up the segmented word. An algorithm for identifying features of handwritten objects is also proposed. This algorithm is based on Hue moments, invariant to affine transformations of an object in the image.
