The article reveals that GR specialists influence state bodies through the ability to work with information and communication. In the information society, characterized by the deepening of the processes of informatization of all aspects of life, it has been shown that increasing the importance of professions with an information and communication component has become a natural trend in the modern media environment. These are journalism, public relations, advertising, information technology, science, professional expertise, consulting, and other professions. As part of the research, the empirical method was used to determine the ability of GR specialists to work with information and communication.
