This article analyzes the possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies within the framework of modern trends in English language teaching, along with the didactic principles to be observed in this process. The potential of AI to individualize, make interactive, and adapt the learning process is thoroughly explored. The effectiveness of AI in English language instruction is demonstrated through practical examples such as Grammarly, ChatGPT, and Elsa Speak. From a didactic perspective, the article substantiates the role of AI in monitoring student activity, identifying errors, and enhancing motivation. In conclusion, the article highlights that the wise use of AI is a crucial tool for improving both the quality of education and the professional competence of educators.
