This article presents information on the correct timing and planting patterns for corn varieties and hybrids to achieve high foliage levels, as well as the factors that influence foliage development. The study focused on the local corn variety «Uzbekistan 601 ESV» and the foreign hybrids «Dneprovsky 181 F1,» «NS-1090 F1,» and «PR31P41 F1.» The study found that to achieve high foliage levels per plant, it is advisable to plant corn varieties and hybrids on June 15th using a 70x30-1 planting pattern, while to achieve high foliage levels per hectare, it is recommended to plant them on June 15th using a 70x20-1 planting pattern.
