The article studies the growth and development of the rice varieties Ikhlos and Sadaf in the conditions of meadowalluvial soils of the Andijan region in the seedling method, depending on the timing of mineral fertilizers application. The research was carried out using the field experiment method, and phenological observations, soil and plant sampling and analysis were carried out on the basis of the manuals «Methods of field experiments» (Dospekhov, 1985), «Methods of State Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops» (1964) and «Methods of Field Experiments» (2007).
