This article highlights that, in addition to various biotic stress factors, abiotic stresses also have a significant negative impact on rice productivity today. One of the major abiotic factors is salinity stress. The study presents the results of a laboratory assessment of the tolerance of rice varieties and samples to this stress. Tolerance was evaluated under four NaCl concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0%) as well as in control conditions. According to the results, the salinity tolerance characteristics of the varieties “Sadaf,” “Tolmas + Marvarid,” and four rice samples at the early stages of development were identified and described.
