The article analyzes the monitoring of the hydrochemistry of the tributaries of the Pyanj River as a consequence of rock weathering. An assessment is made of the degree of applicability of the waters of the Pyanj River tributaries for irrigation of agricultural lands. The contribution of the tributaries of the Pyanj River in the formation and enrichment of the water of the Pyanj River with chemical elements has been determined. The results of studies of the hydrochemistry of the transboundary Pyanj River, which is one of the high-water tributaries of the Amu Darya River, and the contribution of its tributary, the Shokhdara River, to the formation of the chemical composition are presented.
