This article discusses the “Error Notebook” method designed for primaryschool students. This method teaches students to find and correct their own mistakesindependently. The research was conducted with 2nd-grade students during mother tonguelessons: incorrectly written words were rewritten at least three times, and fewer mistakes wereobserved in the following dictation. The method is simple, practical, and can be applied by anyprimary school teacher
