The article examines the pedagogical possibilities of developing the personality of asocially active teacher as a key subject of the educational process. Emphasis is placed on the role of socialactivity in the formation of a teacher’s professional identity, leadership qualities, communication skills,and emotional intelligence. The influence of a socially active teacher on fostering civic responsibility,tolerance, and creative thinking in students is explored.Keywords: socially active teacher, professional identity
