Maqolada hududiy iqtisodiy hamkorlik mintaqasida ichki turizmni rivojlantirishning konseptual asoslarini ikkita alohida strategiya - hajmga asoslangan strategiya va yuqori qiymatli strategiya orqali turizm industriyasi imkoniyatlardan kelib chiqqan holda amalga oshirish yo‘nalishlari ko‘rib chiqildi. Bunda kam xarajat qilib, yuqori qo‘shilgan qiymatni o‘zlashtirish bilan bog‘liq ommaviy turizm yo‘nalishlari va hamkorlik mintaqasining resurs imkoniyatlari tahlili amalga oshirildi. Sayohat qilishning asosiy motivatsiyasi bo‘lgan turizm bozori segmentlarga ajratildi va ularning ulushi mahalliy, qo‘shni davlatlardan kiruvchi va uzoq davlatlardan tashriflarlar kabi uch guruhga ajratib tahlil qilindi. Bundan tashqari, ichki turizmni rivojlantirishning konseptual asosini ishlab chiqishda amalga oshirishili lozim bo‘lgan chora-tadbirlarga ta’sir qiluvchi iqtisodiy, siyosiy, madaniy va tahlil natijasiga ko‘ra xulosa va takliflar shakllantirildi.
