The proliferation of modern mobile applications and online services has beendriven by the objective of encouraging potential customers to make online purchases. However,the potential impact of applications that are specifically oriented towards the tourism sector on thewider tourism market and the sectors that are closely related to it has not been subjected tosufficient academic scrutiny. Consequently, there is a clear need for further research in this area.This scientific article analyses the development of the Internet on a global scale and the scope ofthe need for the creation of mobile applications for the promotion of tourism services. It alsostudies the advanced foreign experience in this regard. The authors put forward specific proposalsfor the development of the InclUZ mobile application and drew conclusions within the context ofthe topic under discussion
