This study examines the assessment of natural and recreational resources indifferent regions and their rational use from both scientific and practical perspectives. The researchresults indicate that various approaches exist for evaluating recreational resources, incorporatingnatural-climatic, historical-cultural, and socio-economic aspects. Particularly, economic valuationplays a crucial role in the effective management and conservation of recreational resources.Additionally, the study highlights the necessity of assessing natural and recreationalresources based on medical-biological, aesthetic, technological, and economic indicators. In amarket economy, it is essential to accurately determine the value of natural resources and ensuretheir sustainable use. Therefore, the study discusses ways to improve the system of natural andrecreational resource assessment and their role in the development of tourism infrastructure. Thefindings of this research provide a scientific basis for the efficient utilization of natural resources,ensuring ecological sustainability, and developing regional growth strategies.
