The article analyzes the goals of the green economy, including reducing carbonemissions, expanding waste recycling, preserving natural ecosystems, and transforming economicactivity through ecological innovations. The article also discusses the issues of creating sustainablejobs and improving the well-being of the population. The green economy is currently recognizedas one of the priority areas of sustainable development. This concept is based on the principles ofrational use of natural resources, not harming the environment, and maintaining ecologicalbalance. Unlike the traditional economic model, the green economy is aimed at increasing energy efficiency, using renewable energy sources, and introducing ecological innovations. In addition, the green economyhelps to reduce the negative impact on the environment by introducing environmentally friendlytechnologies in industry and services, applying the principles of waste recycling and carbonneutrality. It also encourages compliance with environmental standards in economic reforms andinvestment projects. The green economy is an important tool in the fight against climate changeon a global scale and helps countries achieve environmental sustainability. It also strengthenssocial stability by producing environmentally friendly products and increasing the well-being ofthe population. The green economy is one of the newest concepts aimed at ensuring the connectionbetween development and ecology in today's world. The course "Green Economy" offers acomprehensive study of the principles, strategies and practices of sustainable development. Itstudies the interdependence of ecological, social and economic systems, and considers theimportance of integrating environmental considerations into economic decision-making processes.The transition to a "green economy" is unique to each country and is directly related to thecountry's natural capital, human capital, and level of economic development.
