The article historically analyzes the issue of creating new models of women's clothing in the Republican Fashion House using primary sources and materials from periodicals. During the course of the case, it turned out that in 1950-1990, Soviet fashion was mainly discussed in the creative councils of fashion houses, and the clothing models presented for discussion by these creative councils were both new and old items.
