The article discusses the use of the ghazals of Alisher Navoi. Its poetic and ctylistic functions are analyzed. The study discusses the nature of solecism as adeviation from normative syntactic devices, and justifiesthe fact that this phenomenon serves an artistic and aesthetic purpose in Navoi’s ghazals. The article also examines the relationship of solecism with the traditional system of aruz and the requirements of the ghazal genre, and determines that it is a creative transformation within the framework of the poetic norm.
