The article highlights the similar and distinctive features of the legislation of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia in the area of responsibility for the illegal circulation of potent and toxic substances based on a comparative legal analysis of criminal liability established for the specified illegal act. Based on the results of the analysis, the author puts forward proposals aimed at improving the effectiveness of the fight against offenses related to these substances.
