This article reveals information about the pedagogical and psychological characteristics of the development of students' professional communicative competence. In the article, the concepts of communicative competence, the competence of working with information, competence of self-development as a person, competence of socially active citizenship, general cultural competence, mathematical literacy, competence of using scientific and technical achievements, and competence of using ICT are widely covered.
