This article examines the content of the Instruction for district, uyezd, city-district, and volost militia structures, issued by the Main Directorate of the Soviet Militia of Turkestan on January 10, 1921. It explores the organization of structural militia units and the allocation of official duties under the Instruction, including the personnel structure of the Andijan uyezd militia and the implementation of directives from higher authorities at lower administrative levels.
