this article evaluates the economic development trends of the tourism sector in Bukhara Region during 2015– 2024 using modern statistical analysis methods. The study employs time-series analysis, trend modeling, variation analysis, seasonal indices, correlation and regression analysis, as well as short-term forecasting methods. The results indicate that the tourism sector of the region experienced stable development during the pre-pandemic period, followed by a sharp decline in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The recovery process began in 2021. The results of the statistical analysis confirm a strong positive relationship between the number of tourists and tourism revenues. In addition, the seasonal analysis shows that tourist activity reaches its highest level in September–October, while a significant decline is observed during the winter months. Based on trend models, the main tourism indicators for 2026 were forecast, and a high level of reliability of the obtained forecasts was identified. The findings of the study are important for strategic tourism planning in Bukhara Region, improving investment policy, and developing scientifically based recommendations for the sustainable development of regional tourism.
