This article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of promoting sustainable economic growth through strengthening export potential in the national economy. The study analyzes the impact of export potential on economic growth, production output, employment, investment, and the competitiveness of the national economy. Particular attention is paid to export diversification, increasing the share of higher value-added products, entering new foreign markets, and integrating into global value chains as important factors in promoting sustainable economic growth. The study also explores ways to improve the efficiency of export potential utilization and strengthen the competitiveness of national products in international markets. The findings provide a basis for developing scientific and practical recommendations aimed at ensuring long-term and sustainable economic growth through the effective utilization of export potential and the development of foreign trade activities.

The research combines quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the role of export potential in promoting sustainable economic growth. Statistical data are used to examine changes in export performance and economic growth over time, while policy papers, official reports, and previous studies provide a broader understanding of the factors that shape export development. The results are interpreted using comparative and analytical approaches, allowing the study to draw conclusions and propose practical recommendations for improving export potential and supporting long-term economic growth. The results show that GDP per capita in Uzbekistan followed a steady upward trend during the period from 2018 to 2025 (Figure 1). Figure 1.
