The article analyzes the psyche and consciousness as the foundation of human existence, the functions of cognitive capacities, andpsychological types on the basis of Carl Jung’s theory. According to their capacities for thinking, sensation, perception, andintuition, every person belongs to one of two types: extraverted or introverted. Neither type is good or bad, strong or weak; thisclassification determines a person’s attitude toward themselves and the world.
