This article discusses the classification of searches and investigative actions, as well as the opinions of scientists involved in research in this area. The specific differences between conducting a search at a person's place of residence and his office or production premises are discussed, as well as the need to adhere to criminal procedural rules at the stage of filing a case with a court. The article also raises the issue of the need for clarity in the procedures for obtaining permission to transfer objects containing traces of a crime, such as vehicles, containers, and other places. The classification of buildings and places to be searched, including private homes, territories, vehicles, and other places are described. The article also discusses the issue of the categories of persons who have the right to use the right of immunity during the conduct of operational-search activities, including members of the Supreme Council of Judges, judges, and prosecutors. The necessity of reflecting these categories directly in the current legislation is substantiated.
