This article is devoted to the consideration of the status of the International Olympic Committee in international public law based on the analysis of the rules of the Olympic Charter. The article analyzes the official status of the International Olympic Committee as a non-governmental organization registered in accordance with Swiss law, as well as the actual practice of States underlying the recognition of the IOC as a subject of international law.
