The aim of the study is to study the daily profile of blood pressure (ABPM) in patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), depending on the rate of pulse wave velocity (PWV). Materials and methods of the study: 88 patients with grade 1-3 hypertension were included in the study (ESH, 2018). The daily blood pressure profile was assessed by using the device "Medic-combi", Russia. The definition of PWV was carried out on the device SphygmoCor, AtCor Medical Pty Ltd (Australia). The statistical analysis was carried out with the SPSS 24.0 software package. Results of the study: A comparative analysis of ABPM readings showed that as the stiffness of the vascular wall increased, significantly high values of average daily SBP, average daily PBD, average daytime SBP, average night SBP and average night DBP were observed. There was a statistically significant high variability in daytime SBP in patients with elevated PWV. The number of patients with a normal daily profile for SBP and DBP in the groups did not differ. The number of "Non-dippers" for SBP and DBP was significantly higher in the group of patients with normal ABPM values, while "Night pickers" and "Over-dippers" statistically dominated in the second group. Conclusion: Patients with hypertension and CKD with high PWV values have more pronounced violations of the daily blood pressure profile, which contribute to an increased risk of complications of hypertension.
