This article analyzes the stages of development of agro and ecotourism in Uzbekistan during the years of independence, its economic and social significance, existing problems and ways to overcome them. Special attention is also paid to the issues of effective use of the tourism potential of rural areas, maintaining ecological balance and developing modern infrastructure.
