It is examined the Bronze Age archaeological map of Margiana on the basis of geographical, palaeohydrographic and chronological data in this article. The influence of the Murghab alluvial fan and ancient irrigation on settlement distribution, the main microoases, the chronology of the Kelleli phase and the radiocarbon dates of Adzhi Kui 9 are analysed. The causes of discrepancies in site inventories are identified.
