Interpretation of the characters alpomish and barchin in the bekmurod jo‘raboy o‘g‘li variant of the “Alpomish” epic

Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of the characters Alpomish and Barchin in the Bekmurod Jo‘raboy o‘g‘li version of the epic “Alpomish”, which belongs to the Nurota school of epic storytelling. Particular attention is paid to the epic characteristics of the protagonists, their role in the development of the plot, their relationship, and the representation of such traditional values as heroism, loyalty, love, courage and devotion. The Bekmurod Jo‘raboy o‘g‘li version is also compared with the versions performed by Fozil Yo‘ldosh o‘g‘li and Polkan poet.
