A linguistic analysis of military lexicon

This article examines the structural organization of military lexicon as a specialized subsystem of the national language. The study analyzes the thematic, morphological, and semantic classification of military terms, identifying core layers such as tactical, strategic, technical, and administrative vocabulary. Using comparative and component analysis methods, the research reveals the productive word-formation models (compounding, abbreviation, borrowing) that shape military terminology and demonstrates how sociolinguistic factors such as warfare technology and international cooperation influence lexical development.
