The article analyzes the manifestation and role of economy and redundancy in medical linguistics in their relationship with quality. Based on anthropocentric production, the relationship between language and the human factor is highlighted, and the features of medical terms and abbreviations in speech are considered. The results of economy in medical speech are analyzed based on examples of their development in abbreviations, terminological brevity and ellipsis, and redundancy in pleonasm and tautology. , health information is widely understood, improving your health status is revealed. Research sources show that economy and safety phenomena in medical communication do not negate each other, but serve as complementary tools, depending on the communicative situation.
