The article analyzes the organization of lexical units in Gafur Ghulam's stories "Shum bola" and "Yodgor" within semantic microfields and their linguopoetic and pragmatic functions. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comparative analysis of lexical units in the material of the two stories not as separate thematic groups, but as a system of intersecting semantic microfields. Based on the generalization of the results, an analytical-heuristic model is proposed in the form of lexical nomination → contextual association → socio-cultural information → subjective-pragmatic assessment → artistic impact.
