Based on archival documents, periodical press materials, and international sources, this article analyzes the participation of visually impaired individuals in intellectual sports-chess, checkers, and dominoes-in Uzbekistan between 1991 and 2025. Results achieved in national championships held within the system of the Society of the Blind of Uzbekistan, competitions among students of specialized boarding schools, Central Asian championships, and world-level contests are covered in chronological order. Additionally, the role of state policy in the development of the sector and the popularity of dominoes among visually impaired individuals are examined separately.
