The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of sports acmeology, highlighting its significance in the professional development of athletes and the optimization of athletic results. The results obtained showed that the acmeological approach serves the comprehensive development of the physical, technical, tactical, psychological, and social competencies of athletes.
