This study analyzes data regarding the taxonomic composition, biological characteristics, regional distribution of introducedspecies and cultivars, and practical significance of representatives of the Berberidaceae Juss. family found in the flora of theRepublic of Uzbekistan a subject addressing key issues of recent years in our country: expanding green spaces in cities andsettlements, preserving biodiversity, and enriching the assortment of introduced plants.
