This study investigated the effects of ambient temperature and anthropogenic factors on selected physiological parameters ofathletes regularly engaged in kayaking and canoeing. The study involved 72 participants aged 18–21 years. Assessments wereperformed before and after physical exercise under ambient temperature conditions of 18–20°C and 35–39°C. The evaluatedparameters included heart rate (beats/min), maximum systolic arterial blood pressure (SBPmax, mmHg), minimum diastolic arterialblood pressure (DBPmin, mmHg), and pulse pressure (mmHg). The results demonstrated that regular participation in kayaking andcanoeing improves the functional capacity of the cardiovascular system and enhances the body's adaptation to physical exerciseand high environmental temperatures. The relative stability of heart rate and arterial blood pressure observed in athletes indicatesa high level of adaptation of the cardiorespiratory system and thermoregulatory mechanisms. Long-term sports training was foundto induce pronounced morphofunctional adaptations of the cardiovascular system in kayak and canoe athletes, thereby contributingto the maintenance of physical performance under conditions of elevated ambient temperature.
