Annotatsiya

The article analyzes the effect of different irrigation methods and irrigation regimes on the number of grains formed per plant and 1000-grain weight in the chickpea varieties “Obod” and “Polvon”. The study compared the methods of overhead and drip irrigation, as well as the irrigation regimes 60-65-60 and 70-75-65. The results of the analysis showed that under drip irrigation conditions, the number of grains per plant was higher in both varieties. The highest indicator was observed in the “Polvon” variety under the drip irrigation regime 70-75-65, when the number of grains per plant was 50.4 grains. Regarding the mass of 1,000 seeds, the highest result—358.2 g—was recorded for the “Obod” variety under the 70-75-65 drip irrigation regime. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of distributing water based on plant requirements and utilizing drip irrigation technology in chickpea cultivation.
